The Adventures of Felix Fox: Tandem Tales

Summary:I've played this game enough times to know what to do in my head so I thought I'd sorta finish where Cartune left of on this game. Some parts can be confusing and I think this game actually deserves a walkthough.

Enemies

[Normals] - Normal off color Felix creatures that are more or less a weak version of Felix.

[Fatties] - Fat Felix creatures that aren't fast and not all that strong. They don't go far when thrown but deal a lot of damage if you manage  to hit some one when thrown.

[Mighty] - A beefed up version of Felix that walks very slow, but hold a lot of power.

[Mites] - Tiny little Felix men nothing short of a nuisance.

[Pez] - A long body, fat headed Felix who takes nearly all his damage above the neck. You should be able to grab him and stomp him without problems.

Walkthrough

Chapter 1: Whimsical Wishes

- After the introduction, head right as Wiley instructs. You'll come to a frosted plataeu, wall jump on it and continue.
- Follow the path pass the strawberry, and the swirly bridge to see another cut scene.

Felix Town

- Once in Felix Town head up the hill next to Green's house. Head left and you'll see a white Felix to talk to.
- After receiving the berry go down the hill and head right til you see a blue Felix.
- After the bonoculars go down the hill toward the screen and you'll see an orange house. Go to the left side of the orange house and the screen will turn to reveal some branches.
- On top of the orange house climb some more branches to reveal a branch path. Make your way up the path til you find a Cyan Felix. Wall jump to the verandah and hop on the roof.
-After recieving a key do not go back to White, instead jump back down to the ground (it'll hurt but it's a fun fall) or climb down, and make your way back to the top deck of the town where a purple house is.
- Go down the left side of the purple house to uncover a path revealing a purple Felix.
- Inside the back yard, push the block toward the house and wall jump to the purple roof.
You may have trouble with this depending on the speed of your computer.
- Make your way to Yellow's roof to find the real key. Bring the key to white to open the gate near Blue's house.
-After the entering the gate and viewing the cut scene, the fighting begins.

Chapter 2: Deja Vu

- Make your way through the enemies and beware the cut action event on the bridge. The path will end displaying 3 parts of the forest.

Fall

- Make your way through the path and beware of the trap after the springs, continue til you come to a box. Push the box right and jump up it.
- Climb up the path and beware the trap on the left edge of the platform towards the right of the vines.
- At the end of the bridge lies an orb, continue.

Winter

- You should clear this scene without much trouble.

Spring

- Head straight through this scene until you come to the spring. Beware the trap after landing.
- Continue down the path and jump into the pool. Dive down to find a spring at the bottom. Continue.
- Near the end you'll find a lot of platorms. The scene should be clear as well if you remember to wall jump off the moving platform. Don't put too much thought on the enemy standing on the moving platform.

Summer

- After Collecting all the orbs,  talk to the orange mink in a yellow skirt (Lisa). A simple boss battle will begin.
- After the boss a platform will rise taking you to the next stage.

Dreamscape

- Continue on the platform and hop left when you see an arrow.
- Continue down the rainbow and hit the spring and be prepared for a sequence of traps.
- At the end of the traps after landing on the falling platform wall jump to the top and land on another platform which will be moving down.
- Defend yourself from the little Felix ("Mites") best with the candy cane. You'll come to an arrow pointing left. Jump on the left platforms and stay against the wall when you get to it.
-You'll hit an action event that has you jump to a new platform. The platform will continue left until you come to a bound of water.
- Jump into the water and float to the top. Make sure you don't press the dive button, if you do keep pressing A to swim up.
- Move left and hit the trap near the left end of the platform. You'll jump Forward on to a rainbow trial. There are no more traps on the stage after this point.
- At the end of the trial are springs leading to one last rising platform which will take you to the Boss.

Trickster

- Tricker's stategy is simple when you catch on. There are three color strips, Red, Blue, then yellow. Whenever trickster flashes red, do nothing. Whenever trickster flashes blue, ROLL or jump if you prefer, its harder. Whenever trickster turns yellow Jump. Follow these steps until the tricker trips. You can stomp him or throw him. Throwing him does a lot more damage and things will speed up a lot quicker.
-Eventually trickster will lose and you'll head to the next stage.

Final Chapter: The Castle and the Queen

- Continue down the road defeating enemies and climb up the vines to defeat more enemies. After this point beware of a trap on the ground.
- After that trap beware of a trap against the wall where the big guy ("Mighty") stands. This is a very tricky trap because enemies aren't usually expected to get caught in them and you're already revving up the fight Mighty.
- After the continue to the trail and you find mites surrounding a box. Enter the area and defeat them and push the box left.
- After this push the box right and climb the wall.
- You'll see walls moving in and out. Beware, there is a trap directly after the 4th wall.
- You'll continue staight down the path to see probably the most beautiful scene in the game. There's nothing interesting here.

Nightmare Castle

- Prepare yourself for a lot of traps. Head straight and the floor will begin to move up, it won't hurt you as long as you keep running.
- Once you land there's another trap on the floor, continue straight down and some walls will begin to move appearing to crush you. Just keep forward and you'll be safe. I wish I had done something a bit more challenging here. It's fun to look at at least.
- The floors will begin to collapse as you progress, move the wall away from the screen then jump on the purple platform.
- Try as best as you can to jump up the purple platforms and beware of the glitch that will smash you when being to close to the wall when the platforms fall.
- As you progress you'll see a white vine, jump to it and try not to press the A button when you grab on. I could've fixed this by setting a mininum time to stay on the vine
- You're in the safe zone now, cut through the alley ignoring the rest and enter the grove where the mites stay to reveal a hidden elevator.
- At the end of the ride go right to find a group of mighty's. After that you'll see a group of ("Pez") heads. The Pez can be best defeated by head blows. This is a big hint.
- Jump to the vine after the pez and go left left after reaching the top. take the turn left and beware a trap. When the trap springs a lot of the ("Fatties") will fly off the platform and die down below. Hop over the rest of the fatties and enter the alley.
- Continue through the scene with pretty much nothing on it. You should have no trouble and I believe you've mastered when to use the wall jump by now.

Super Ego

- Super Ego will drag on about how he's mistreated and a fight will begin. The stategy can be complex if you're not familiar with your abilities.
- To beat Super Ego, attack him until he takes a Pez head form, after this do a
strong air attack (Hold the attack button while in the air) kicking him in the head. His head may lean, his body may get longer, and he may also get quite mean as you progress but the stategy remains the same throughout.

- Pat yourself on the back, you've completed the game.

Secrets

Hold left shift when you press "Tales" on the Menu to start on Chapter 2.
